- Annie studied French and Italian at Selwyn College, Cambridge, and began her blog on her year abroad, while teaching in Lyon, France. She then lived in Geneva for a year, where she worked for an international ecumenical organization. On returning to the UK she gained an MA in Literary Translation from the University of East Anglia, and worked as a translator and classical music agent in Cambridge. She recently moved to Prague, where she is discovering the Czech culture and language.
